Halloween Time vs. Oogie Boogie Bash®
First: Halloween Time at the Disneyland® Resort and Oogie Boogie Bash® are different things.
Halloween Time is something that all guests traveling to the Disneyland® Park and Disney® California Adventure Park
will experience with a general admission ticket. From August 21 – October 31, guests at both
parks will enjoy special decorations, modified rides, thematic character experiences, and yummy
seasonal treats.
Oogie Boogie Bash® – A Disney® Halloween Party is a separately ticketed event offered on
specific nights in August, September, and October. This special event takes place in Disney® California
Adventure Park from 6:00 PM – 11:00 PM. The $139 admission also includes entry to Disney® California
Adventure Park as early as 3:00 PM, so guests who don’t have a general admission ticket that day can
still spend three hours in the park before Oogie Boogie Bash® begins.

What Makes Oogie Boogie Bash® Worth the Hype?
1. Villains Grove and Treat Trails
During this event, Disney® turns Redwood Creek Challenge Trail into a haunting adventure
where you can encounter your favorite Disney® villains. Guests will experience the sights,
sounds, and smells of Frollo’s Sanctuary, Maleficent’s Will, Queen of Hearts’ Garden, Scar’s
Elephant Graveyard, Dr. Facilier’s Friends on the Other Side, and The Wicked Queen’s
Lightning Forest.
There’s not-so-scary frights and exhilarating fun for the whole family in Villains Grove…
and plenty of evil laughter – mwahahaha!
Pro-tip: We recommend checking the Disneyland® app to see a rotating schedule of villains
lurking near the Buena Vista fountain.
2. Madame Leota’s Swinging Wake – A Haunted Mansion® Street Party
In addition to encountering Disney® villains on treat trails (including Yzma, Hades, and Judge
Doom), guests will experience the staple of Halloween at The Disneyland® Resort: A haunted and happy
parade of thematic characters.
The streets of Disney® California Adventure Park come alive after dark with spooky choreography,
unforgettable music, and the sweetest costumes. We even hear that Minnie, Clarabelle, and
Daisy are dressing up with some hocus pocus magic!
Pro-tip: We recommend posting up near the Animation Academy for a great view of the
show and quick access to Oogie Boogie himself.
3. Oogie Boogie Bash® Dessert Party
