The Magic Key Terrace is a special spot for visitors who hold a Magic Key, Disneyland’s annual pass, and their guests. It sits above the Golden Vine Winery in Disney California Adventure Park and gives guests a quiet place to eat, drink, and enjoy great views. From the terrace, you can see Avengers Campus, Cars Land, and San Fransokyo Square, offering a whole new perspective on the park.
The space has a fascinating history. It used to be called the Alfresco Tasting Terrace and focused on California wines. Later, it became a retreat for Legacy Annual Passholders. Now it welcomes Magic Key holders to enjoy a lounge that feels comfortable and stylish. The design is inspired by California hacienda-style buildings, with colorful stained-glass windows, wrought-iron chandeliers, and rustic details that create a warm, inviting atmosphere. A minor water feature adds soothing sounds that help guests relax as they look out over the busy park.
Only Magic Key holders and up to five guests can visit the terrace. One Magic Key holder must be present for the group to enter. This limited access gives the terrace a private feel while still welcoming friends and family.
The menu features California-inspired food and drinks. Guests can enjoy small plates and appetizers like flatbreads, sliders, and seasonal snacks. There is a curated selection of California wines and craft beers, along with special cocktails inspired by the park’s attractions and history. Guests over 21 can enjoy alcoholic drinks with a valid ID, and Disney limits the number of drinks per transaction.
Reservations can be made through the Disneyland app or website, and some same-day reservations are available when space is available. Guests must arrive together to be seated. If reservations are full, Magic Key holders can join a mobile walk-up list, and checking in on the app saves time. Having a reservation does not guarantee park entry, so guests need a valid ticket and a park reservation for the same day.
Magic Key holders receive discounts on food and non-alcoholic drinks at the terrace. This makes it a good spot to enjoy meals while visiting the park often. The terrace also gives a place to relax and connect with friends. The drinks and food items reference the park’s history, which fans may enjoy.
Guests can watch the park from above while enjoying a slower pace. They can sip drinks at sunset or share snacks with friends while seeing the activity below. The terrace is designed to celebrate the Magic Key community and give loyal visitors a special spot.
