Keep cool as summer comes to a close at the expansive Anaheim Indoor Marketplace, where you can shop for fresh, local produce, pastries and meats along with artisanal gifts and treasures. Known as the OC’s biggest indoor swap meet, it’s a one of a kind indoor shopping experience with permanent vendors featuring children’s wear, cosmetics, electronics, housewares, jewelry, men’s and women’s wear, sporting goods, toys and of course a smorgasbord of shoes.

In August, there’s the Ballet Folklorico Competition on August 6th where groups dance battle for a $500 cash prize. The annual Free Health Fair on August 20th includes screenings for dental, vision, cholesterol and more. Plus, with the Latin Mirage event on August 5th and the Resplandor de Mexico every other Sunday, there’s always something exciting happening at the Marketplace.
It’s also the go-to spot for home cooked meals, specializing in authentic Mexican flavors. Try La Palapa for snacks, Dulceria Botanas Avalos for sweet treats or the Latin Kitchen for genuine dishes from south of the border.
