A day at the theme parks!
How to prepare for a great day at the theme parks. Wake up super early and be sure to pack all the essentials you will need for the day. Sun screen is a must, along with a couple bottles of water. Bring some band aids – just in case. You leave your hotel room early and stop by our breakfast room for some great and healthy food options. Once the family is full, it’s a brisk 8 minute walk from our hotel to the theme parks. Be sure to arrive before the theme parks open, as everyone has to experience the official rope drop at least once! The anticipation heightens as you see all the magic of the theme parks all around you. Once the parks are open make sure you line up at one of the popular rides first. The lines will be shortest first thing in the morning. If you are visiting in the summer months be aware that it can get quite hot in Southern California, with temps typically from the 80s to the mid 90s. In the middle of the day, to avoid the hot weather, choose a ride that’s inside with air conditioning! 
Be sure to grab lunch in the theme park early before all the restaurants get busy. Enjoy your lunch outside in the shade, where temps are usually 15-20 degrees lower. The great thing about our hotel is you can walk back for a few hours and enjoy our large pool area. Be sure to take breaks and pace yourself. The best way to thoroughly get the most out of you theme park vacation is to spread it out over 3-4 days – this way you will not miss anything! Be sure to not miss the parades! There is usually a daytime and an evening parade. As the sun goes down so does the temps – but in the summer time is will stay around 75 in the evening.
