Temecula Olive Oil Tour

Do you love olive oil? Take a short day trip to nearby Aguanga for the famous Temecula tour. The 90-minute walk through the groves is led by a knowledgeable staff member who tells visitors all about the art of olive growing. Learn the harvesting techniques, how Southern California is leading the way in sustainable agriculture, and how pressing and milling works. Of course, plenty of extra virgin olive oils along with balsamic vinegar tastings are included along the way.

Tours are only available the second and fourth Saturdays of the month. They begin at 10 a.m., and cost $15 per adult (children 12 and under can enjoy it for free). Due to the exclusivity of the tours, they tend to fill up quickly. Contact Temecula directly to book your time in advance.

Olive You

Can’t make it to Temecula? The olive oil king has a handful of tasting rooms around Southern California. However, the first shop is in historic Old Town Temecula. You’ll find it on the corner of Main Street and Old Town Front Street. As both growers and sellers of the best olive oil in America, you’ll find everything you need for a decadent meal.

Explore spreads, herbs, hand-blended and flavored oils, sea salts and more. There are also pampering products including lotions, candles and soaps featuring Temecula olive oil. No visit to Anaheim is complete without really tasting the region, and nothing compares to this established olive oil grower.
