It is time for the annual Star Wars Half Marathon Weekend right here at Disneyland. This fun and exciting event is a weekend long full of activities for both runners and the cheering squads. With activities and events for every age, come out and enjoy the fun as a family.
The fun-filled weekend kicks off this Thursday evening with the Wookie Welcome Party. This exciting event is a private party held inside Tomorrowland of the park with all of your favorite Star Wars characters and some of the classic Disney characters. Enjoy the dessert reception and then head out into the park to enjoy Space Mountain, Star Tours and a few other select rides available for partygoers. The party begins at 9:30 pm and tickets can be purchased online. There is limited space and will sell out so be sure to get your tickets today!
The races begin Friday morning with the 5K and the 10K on Saturday morning followed by the Kids Races. The Star Wars Half Marathon will close out the weekend events on Sunday morning. All races begin and end at the Disneyland Resort. While all the runs are sold out, you can still grab your posters, Mickey ears and line up along the race route to support the runners.
